I'm going to write about when I was at Drake Stadium in Des Moines for state track and about to go up for the 3200-meter run. I was really nervous before the race especially because I was the only person from my school that was in it, but I ended up talking to some people from our district meet and was less nervous afterward. The theme of my story is that a sense of community can be found anywhere. The characters will be two of my friends on the team from my high school and the two runners from a different high school.
