For my final travel essay I will explore the trip I took to Anchorage, Alaska this previous summer. I plan to focus in on the portion of our trip where we were in a remote town called Seldovia, and used the taxi service there run by a singular man named Pearly. The characters of my story will be myself, my brothers and parents, and Pearly. The theme I want to explore is that or finding joy in unexpected people and places when traveling, and being open to these experiences when they occur.
